Encourage students to only go to their edge, that point where they feel challenged, yet not overdoing it. Even flexing activities could help a stressed person by loosening the tight muscles. Remember, your mind and body are one, and if you are suppressing any painful emotions, you will often experience that as pain in some part of your body.

Once you start, you will get better and better at it. Signing up for a series of classes is also the best way to keep you on track, since you can pay in advance.
